The multi-channel FOG testing system is an integrated software solution capable of simultaneously acquiring and testing up to 8 channels of fiber optic gyro data. The system consists of two main components: the acquisition board hardware and the host computer control system software.
The acquisition board provides 8 channels that can interface with gyros using different protocols. Implemented via FPGA technology, the board aggregates 8-channel parallel gyro data into network packets for transmission to the host computer. The host software then parses these packets, displaying and processing each channel's gyro data independently.
The system can automatically execute complete test plans including high/low temperature, static, and dynamic testing. After configuring the test plan, the system autonomously manages temperature control and turntable operation, performing data acquisition, analysis, and storage when test conditions are met - all without requiring manual intervention.
