ASE Light Source for FOG with Flat-Spectrum <1.5dB, RIN-Suppressed 12dB Noise Reduction, and -40℃ to 70℃ Range

This document introduces four specialized ASE light sources developed for fiber optic gyroscopes (FOG), including flat-spectrum ASE, 1530nm/1560nm Gaussian-spectrum ASE, and RIN-suppressed ASE light sources. Available operating wavelengths cover 1530nm and 1560nm, with output optical power ranging from 10 to 50 mW.

These light sources effectively suppress phase errors from backscattering and Kerr effect to ensure high precision of FOG systems. They are widely applied in navigation, aircraft stabilization, and missile guidance systems.

• Multiple Spectrum Types: Flat spectrum with spectrum flatness below 1.5dB and wide bandwidth over 38nm; Gaussian spectrum with stable central wavelength; RIN-suppressed version that reduces relative intensity noise by 10~12dB to boost FOG zero-bias stability by 20%-25%.
• Wide Temperature Adaptability: Normal models operate from -45℃ to 70℃, while RIN-suppressed versions support -40℃ to 70℃, with stable output power and wavelength across the full temperature range.
• Flexible Control Modes: APC/ACC control options with standard 5V power supply, covering diverse power consumption requirements.
• Mature Manufacturing: Over 10 years of R&D experience, standardized MES production management, self-owned 980nm packaging line, mass shipment over 3500 units per year with high cost performance and reliability.
• Optimal Precision Performance: The RIN-suppressed series delivers superior precision performance, despite larger size, higher power consumption, and cost.
